Volunteers are integral to our organization. Below you will find a list of volunteer opportunities that are typically available. If you find one of interest, complete the application form below.

Family Support Volunteer:
Visits with patients and families in their homes on a regular basis for companionship and emotional support. May provide respite care for caregivers or run errands.

Nursing Home Volunteer:
Visit with patients in nursing or rest homes on a regular basis for emotional support and companionship. May assist patient with care or run errands.

Inpatient Hospice Unit Volunteer:
Provide emotional support to families and patients within the Hospice Center. Assist nursing staff with chores, errands and patient care.

Staff Support Volunteer:
Assist with simple office duties such as assisting with mail preparation, thank you letters, bereavement mailings, fundraisers, annual memorial service, etc.

Special Skills Volunteers:
Frequently, hospice patients need volunteers with special skill. Examples are; lawn care, carpenter, hair stylist, musician, florist, notary and more.

Hospice Thrift Store Volunteer
Work in one of our two thrift stores located in Warsaw and Wallace. Greet and assist customers. Sort through donations, price, hang and display items for sale under the direction of the store manager.
